Shift: Days 3x12 Floating is required if needed Weekend coverage is required Medication System: Omnicell 1 year of EPIC experience is required Special procedures: ENT surgery-trachs, laryngectomy Plastics-I&D Wound VACs General Surgery-Bowel obstructions, mastectomy, chole, appe, GSW, overdose, hernia repair Surgical Oncology-pancreatitis Colorectal-colectomy, colostomy Special Equipment: Wound Vac PCA PICC Lines Drains Ostomy Required Certificates: BLS, Active RN SC license Must have at least 2 years of experience in Medsurg Unit will review 1st time travelers based on experience Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff Prisma Health s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns.
