Position Purpose:
4 East Inpatient Rehab: Inpatient rehab, and a well-coordinated conditioning program for patients suffering from TBI, stroke, orthopedic surgery, and spinal cord trauma.
Shifts Available: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and: Day Shift 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Status Available: Full time, Part time Every Other Weekend and Every other Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.

The Saint Joseph Mercy Health System 6 North Medical PCU (Progressive Care Unit) is a 10-bed unit that provides services to patients with complex medical co morbidities that require vigilant monitoring, thoughtful assessment and timely clinical interventions to achieve their treatment goals.
Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.Position Purpose: The Short Stay Unit is an 18 bed post-surgical and inpatient observation unit caring for patients who need a short period of hospital-level care-typically less than 36 hours. Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.

Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments and develops individualized care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG), addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs • Maintains timely and accurate documentation of care, interventions, and patient status updates, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements • Coordinates care activities including visit scheduling, medication management, physician collaboration, and interdisciplinary communication to ensure continuity and quality of care • Provides education and support to patients and caregivers, and responds to urgent needs during on-call or admissions assignments • Supervises LPNs, LVNs, and hospice aides as needed, and participates in IDG meetings, patient conferences, and ongoing clinical education • Supports pre-hospice services by evaluating patient status via phone, telehealth, or in-person visits and identifying needs for additional care or services. If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you: • Associates degree, preferred • Registered Nurse license required in state(s) practicing • Current and valid CPR certification, preferred - required in Georgia • Minimum one year of experience, preferred - required in California • Previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgical or patient population specific (i.e. geriatrics, pediatric, etc.) nursing.
