Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: - 24 months of current operating room experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized) - Circulating/operating room experience required - Scrub experience highly preferred - Experience in cases: General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma required - Additional experience in Client, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Vascular highly preferred - EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years required - Trauma Level I experience highly preferred - Trauma Level II experience required - No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months required License: - Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license at the time of submission required Certifications: - BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - Work history/resume must include 24 months of current operating room experience required - Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline listed (Operating Room Nurse, scrub/scrubbing) required - Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or CNO from within the last 24 months preferred - Valid Driver's License required Description: The registered nurse will work in the operating room setting. Patients served will include those in a variety of specializations, such as cardiac, neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants.
