Exciting Opportunity for ICU Float Pool RNs!** **Job Description:** - **Assignment Duration:** 16-26 weeks - **Mileage Rates:** - Travel: 101 miles+ - Radius: 51-100 miles - Local: 50 miles or less - **Holiday Work:** Must work 2 out of the following 4 holidays: - Thanksgiving - Christmas - Christmas Eve - New Year’s Day - **Position Overview:** - RN for ICU Float Pool - Floating required to various units within the central pool ICU - Flexibility with scheduling essential - Primary base in Medical ICU with overflow to neuro - Required to float to SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4 - **Key Responsibilities:** - Initiate IVs and manage multiple titrating drips - Provide critical vent care - Care for patients with multi-system disease, CRRT, IAPB, ECMO, COVID, and vents - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Minimum of every other weekend - Schedule adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs - **Dress Code:** - Solid color scrubs - **Qualifications:** - AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required - NIHSS required prior to start; CCRN preferred - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required - Experience in large (500+ bed) teaching facilities - Hemodynamic device experience preferred - Epic experience from within the past 2 years required - Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained - **Transportation Notice:** - Public transportation is NOT accessible in the area - Reliable transportation is essential (personal vehicle or rental vehicle recommended) - Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
