All CS Maintainers must be able to align, operate (in a maintenance capacity only), and shut down Combat Systems and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) equipment under their cognizance in accordance with Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) for those systems supported by CSOSS and/or relevant technical manual and preventive maintenance procedures. Technical support also includes evaluations, assessments, equipment functional checks, assistance on communications systems, troubleshooting/test/analysis and equipment repair, part installation, operation, and maintenance for installed systems and equipment including peripheral, interfaced and support systems.
