Participates in the assessment, administration, and evaluation of respiratory therapy treatments, pulmonary function testing, performs extubations, airway management and ventilatory life support to critical adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Participates with other health care professionals in obtaining, interpreting and evaluating pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gases, airway management and respiratory treatments.
