Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: VA License or proof of application for VA License with another state license Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS Must-Have: - RRT must also be able to float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units - NICU assignments will vary based on acuity - Required certifications must be obtained before starting Description: This position requires an RRT who can provide care in both NICU and adult units including floors, emergency department, and intensive care units. The candidate must have experience in airway management, medication administration, arterial blood gases, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers.
