Demonstrates clinical competence in a congregate care setting as evidenced by teaming skills, knowledge of milieu-based programming, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused treatment, developmentally and gender sensitive care, and relational practices, as well as documentation and regulatory requirements. Identifies potential risk factors and takes measures to reduce those risks in the milieu through reinforcement of positive and safe behaviors, trauma-informed and relationally-based therapeutic interventions, and reports of suspected child abuse/neglect, according to agency policies and procedures.
