Overview:
Air Methods is seeking an experienced aviation leader to oversee and support HealthNet operations throughout West Virginia. This position serves as the primary aviation leadership representative for the HealthNet program and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across the region. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the West Virginia operating environment, including regional geography, weather challenges, customer relationships, and the operational demands unique to HealthNet. This is an active flying leadership role, not solely an administrative management position. The Regional Aviation Manager (RAM) is expected to maintain aircraft qualifications and operational currency while supporting frontline operations through occasional flight duty assignments as needed. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience within Part 135 operations, the ability to build strong relationships across operational teams, and a commitment to safety, accountability, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the organization, direction and administration tasks assigned within a regional area in relationship to overseeing aviation activities and personnel. Specific areas of focus are safety and training. Responsible for daily aviation duties. May be required to work with other field management including regional leadership, maintenance, and clinical to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to service requests.  Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: • Ensure all operations within region are compliant with regulations, operations specifications and General Operations Manual. • Participates as a member of Air Methods’ management team to promote a successful operation. • Researches and reports to Director of Operations on FRx budget/actual variances • Ensures completion of aviation management portions of Base Startup, Closure and Movement Manual. • Ensures that revisions for the Operations Manual and Operations Specifications are distributed and revised as required and the appropriate Publications Verification Form(s) are completed and submitted to the certificate holder. • Provides tactical management of the integration of aircraft, assuring availability and trained pilots in support of operational requirements. • Delegate’s aviation field logistical support to Area Manager. • Attends or delegates attendance to fleet status teleconferences (KPI Dashboard). • Coordinates pilot training in conjunction with the Pilot Training team for the area. • Coordinates with Regional Safety Director on safety related issues while providing technical and professional assistance to eliminate or control unsafe behaviors in coordination with Area Manager. • Assists in the Investigation of aviation mishaps and in performing a root cause analysis upon request. • Submits all required reporting regarding flight personnel to the Regional Aviation Director. • Monitors the behaviors and performance of aviation personnel to assure they comply with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. • Ensures that the 411 system is being utilized by pilots. • Responsible to ensure audit deficiencies and compliance issues found in their area of responsibility are corrected. • Coordinates with Regional Clinical Managers to schedule and conduct medical crewmember and communication specialist initial and recurrent training. Monitor crewmember Computer Training System (CTS) compliance. Conduct Air Medical Resource Management training. • Ensure in-service training for aviation and medical personnel occurs prior to placing a back-up aircraft back in service and training records are accurate. • Responsible for conducting or coordinating ferry and MOC flights. • Monitors and responds to Accidental, Incident, Damage, Malfunction, Operations Report (AIDMOR) submissions. • Coordinates with the Regional Maintenance Director/Manager on timely correction of mechanical irregularities and discrepancies impacting maintenance activities informing Area Manager. • Complete initial subscription for GPS update for assigned aircraft; base maintainers manage recurring downloads. • Acts as the on-scene representative for all accidents/incidents occurring within assigned area coordinated with Area Managers. • Educates with pilots the Safety Manage System (SMS) and the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) program. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, available 24/7 for operational requirements. • Other Duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises employees in the Aviation department. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. For Exempt Managers: Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.

Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Plugging Manager coordinates the plugging and abandonment program supervising assigned Rig Foremen and managing and scheduling rig, cement, wireline, trucking, and construction equipment and personnel over multiple job sites. Special focus will be placed on: <ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0px"><li style="line-height:normal;margin:0in 0in 0in 0px;font-size:11pt;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif">Supervise daily plugging rig activities ensuring procedures are followed. </li><li style="line-height:normal;margin:0in 0in 0in 0px;font-size:11pt;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif">Provide regular updates to management regarding field progress, issues, and delays. Track and report cost and spending updates. Coordinate with management to address and monitor any personnel issues.</li><li style="line-height:normal;margin:0in 0in 0in 0px;font-size:11pt;font-family:'calibri' , sans-serif">Regularly communicate with field employees to obtain rig and job site updates and to provide guidance and direction. Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:• High School Diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license • 3 - 5 years’ experience in plugging operations preferred • 2 years’ experience running service rigs preferred • Experience with downhole fishing, milling, drilling, etc. • Experience with general maintenance on service rig, pumping equipment, and all other equipment • Willingness to travel on a frequent basis • Knowledge with H2S Gas • Basic math skills • Basic computer skills/proficiency  • Class A/B CDL is a plus Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: • The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.
