Provide onsite safety leadership for large-scale construction industrial pipeline and energy projects Develop, implement, and manage site-specific safety programs, plans, and procedures Conduct daily field audits, inspections, and hazard assessments (confined space, excavation, lifting, hot work, LOTO, etc.) Lead and document incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions Serve as the primary safety liaison with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership Oversee and issue work permits, hot work, confined space, critical lifts, PJHAs, JSAs Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and formal training sessions Support emergency response activities, including ICS roles when applicable Mentor field personnel and reinforce a proactive, accountable safety culture Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EM 385-1-1, MSHA, and client-specific requirements Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting, and regulatory records. 15 years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial, energy, or pipeline environments Proven success supporting high-hazard work scopes, including excavation, confined space, lifting, commissioning, shutdowns, civil work, demolition, and industrial installations Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 & 1910, Confined Space Excavation, Trenching, Cranes & Rigging, and work permitting systems and hazard mitigation Demonstrated ability to lead in the field, influence operations, and communicate effectively at all levels Experience working directly with clients and maintaining strong professional relationships Willingness to travel and work on active job sites for extended project durations.
