We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Onsite Safety Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) delivery across the Monarch Compute Campus construction site - a 2,250+ acre, multi-gigawatt build comprising three hyperscale data center buildings, 864 Caterpillar reciprocating gas engines, switchgear and substation infrastructure, and supporting gas and water systems. Reporting to Nscale's construction leadership, you will own the day-to-day site HSE program, partner closely with EPC and trade contractors, and ensure that every worker - from civil crews to commissioning engineers - goes home safe, every day.

Job Description: We are looking for on-site construction safety managers for various electrical construction projects consisting of electric substation breaker upgrades, relay upgrades, and generating station upgrades; various civil construction projects consisting of concrete structure rehabilitations, demolitions, and earthworks; and mechanical projects consisting of equipment upgrades and overhead crane upgrades. on W2 (DOE) Duration: 3+ months [Temp w/Temp to hire option (after 520 hours worked min.)] Work Location: Brooklyn, NY [LOCALS ONLY - Field work is required in Brooklyn and surrounding boroughs of NYC.] Work Hours: 7am-4pm/8am-5pm (approx) Work Days: Mon-Fri.

The Safety Manager works independently to perform multiple tasks, supporting many disciplines within the field Rigging & Crating group to help ensure that all areas are working efficiently and without risk of personal injury or impact to the facilities and equipment.
