As a Team Partner in the Sales Department, you will be developing new business for UniFirst First Aid retail marketing through high-level selling skills. When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We believe our diversity makes us who we are, and we strive every day to build a culture where everyone feels welcome.What you’ll be doing:<ul><li>Sell and promote First Aid products to new accounts with 75 employees or more and/or multiple locations. </li><li>Develop new business and penetrate accounts further to sell additional lines with the priority as first aid, facility services, and safety products.</li><li>Meet new customer needs with products that will help provide a safe, pleasant, and productive workplace.</li><li>Lead 411 as another tool to grow your prospect hopper. </li><li>Organize and implement a “work plan’ for maximizing daily sales and decreasing mileage between calls.</li><li>Maintain a call average that is consistent with current company objectives.</li><li>Promote growth by continuously setting appointments, making cold calls, and gaining referrals for new business.</li><li>Participate and execute information provided from sales meetings.</li><li>Submit work orders, paperwork and expense reports as required.</li><li>Keep paper-flow consistent by ensuring accuracy.</li><li>Communicate with the local Sales Manager, Territory Manager and the Regional Sales Manager with all pertinent information for any new accounts.</li><li>Keep abreast of all price changes and sell accordingly.</li><li>Maintain a prospect database of all accounts being developed.</li><li>Participate in periodic promotions.</li><li>Ensure that personal vehicle used for company business is clean, organized, and properly maintained.</li><li>Adhere to company policies as outlined in the UniFirst Employee handbook and the Green Guard Field Manual.</li><li>Keep up to date about competitive companies, their products, and prices. </li><li>Share pertinent information about pricing and products with other employees during sales meetings.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.</li></ul> Qualifications What we’re looking for:<ul><li>High school and/or GED equivalent is required.</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.  </li><li>Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards.</li><li>Two years of business to business selling experience is required.</li><li>High-level selling skill including strong prospecting and closing skills.</li><li>Knowledge and exceptional sales experience.</li><li>Ability to be resourceful.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.</li><li>Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards</li></ul>About UniFirst First Aid + SafetyUniFirst First Aid + Safety is a division of the UniFirst Corporation. Direction will be provided by the EHS (Safety) Manager. Additional support will be provided by the Manufacturing Manager and the site management team. What We Offer: We offer eligible employees competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package designed to assist employees and their families with their financial security, health and well-being. + Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Plans + Earn up to 2 weeks paid time off during first year + 401k with Company Match What You Will Do: + Inspect machinery processes and procedures to ensure good health and safety practices. + Work with contractors and ensure safety policies are followed. + Monitor the production line and check if workers follow safety rules. + Conduct daily safety training for new and current employees. + Conduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.). + Conduct Environmental inspections as directed by EHS (Safety) Manager. + Carry out examinations of machinery, working environments and structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and taking photographs and samples where necessary. + Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment, such as ear protection or appropriate types of gloves and clothing. + Investigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substances, as well as accidents and complaints. + Participate as a member of the facility Confined Space Entry Team and Hazardous Materials Response Team. What We Look For: + High School Diploma + 1+ years of production experience and a natural curiosity for keeping employees safe. + Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. + Strong communication skills and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to learn and use safety computer system. Bilingual language skills are a plus. + Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations). + Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time + Work in a wide range of temperatures and conditions while being exposed to moving mechanical parts. + The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber boots.
