Assists in the positioning of patients in appropriate treatment position and immobilizes that patients position with the necessary technique or device; as well as, verifies accuracy of tumor localization with radiation oncologist via the x-ray according to physician's orders and treatment plan. Maintains own proficiency through the utilization of in-service programs, workshops, seminars, and other self-directed learning activities; as well as, applies principles of radiation safety in the performance of any exam involving x-ray.
