This position requires a dynamic salesperson who will be selling to contractors, retail clients, and architects.
Provide feedback to marketing/purchasing concerning the market needs for new improved products and services, changes in competitive policies, and strategies relating to products and markets, channels of distribution, advertising and promotion, pricing and sales activity. The Outside Sales Representative will regularly visit job sites, meet with customers to review project needs, provide material take-offs and pricing, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
With flyers in hand and a consultative mindset, you''ll meet with potential clients, uncover their needs, and show them how our full range of workplace products and services can make their lives easier. Our drivers are the heartbeat of our business, delivering a wide range of items, including food service supplies, office essentials, furniture, and janitorial products.
Previous sales experience selling value added products/services; preferably related to the commercial construction industry, PVF industry (pipes, valves, fittings) or mechanical products will always make your transition a smooth one, but with our training program those from all backgrounds have experienced great success. Youll be responsible for executing all phases of project pursuit and project management to secure a purchase order from project inception through design, specifications, drawings, bidding phase, job site training and support, final commissioning and after-sale follow up.
