Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typically performed by those with this job title; however, they may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each person with this job title:Directs sales activity by leading the outside and/or inside sales teams, communicating the needs of the customer across the organization and reporting performance / market trends for the businessFacilitates the sales planning and execution process to support organizational growth objectives including defining, measuring and improving divisional and account-based sales activitiesContinually analyze current sales trends, market conditions and other pertinent information to drive the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure all areas are capable of meeting customer needsDevelops and maintains a robust, cadenced revenue and forecasting plan based on new program wins/losses, market trends, and works with supply chain managers to advise on the needs to support sales objectives. Leads and manages the Division's sales team engaging in hiring, coaching, reviewing, establishing goals and performance management activitiesCustomer Problem Solving: Leads commercial discussion and/or actions related to solving concerns introduced by our customersForm intimate relationships with Top Tier customers, and develop an in depth knowledge of other mid-upper level customers/prospects as directed.
