Owns a sales quota/budget for an assigned account base Retains, develops and grows sales for assigned accounts based on business model, market segment, or specified product line and technology Identifies and uncovers market needs and trends in cooperation with Sales Managers through penetration, execution, and retention sales initiatives Interfaces directly with business partners/customers Leads sales meetings and travels to business partner/customer sites to support business objectives Collaborates with and leads cross-functional projects in support of sales objectives Works directly with Market Segment Specialists and Outside sales in prospecting of sales leads identified by Marketing services, Tradeshows, etc. Bachelor's in Engineering or Associates Degree with equivalent work experience required 3+ years industrial/technical experience in sales/marketing/engineering Previous experience with instrumentation or measurement technologies preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team Excellent group presentation skills Comfortable with customer-facing discussions and business communication Highly organized and has very effective time management skills Ability to work cross functionally with other members of the sales and marketing organization Strong negotiating skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM software.
