Direct the design and development of cable/wire harness assemblies and fiber optic interconnect systems, ensuring compliance with MIL-DTL, MIL-PRF, and customer-specific specificationsOwn engineering deliverables against program schedules, including drawings, GD&T packages, BOMs, ICDs, and qualification test plansReview and approve engineering designs, drawing packages, and change orders (ECOs/ECNs) originating from the teamLead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for design-related quality escapes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly documentationExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or equivalent preferred)Strong knowledge of AS9100, PLM systems, configuration management, and engineering change processesExcellent leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and competing priorities in a manufacturing environment.
