US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Mission Statement: Conduct operations to deter, prevent, and defeat threats and aggression aimed at the United States, its territories, and interests within the assigned area of responsibility; and as directed by the President or Secretary of Defense, provide defense support of civil authorities including consequence management operations. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Combatant Command headquarters level Special Access Program (SAP) security specialist/ Security Officer providing personnel, operations, automated information systems, information, physical, communications security, and Security Education, Training, and Awareness security program functions.
