<div>We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for answering phone calls, performing basic data entry, and managing appointment scheduling to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, assisting callers with scheduling inquiries.</li><li>Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately using scheduling software or systems.</li><li>Maintain and update appointment calendars and records.</li><li>Perform basic data entry tasks, including inputting client information into databases or electronic health records.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other departments to coordinate appointments.</li><li>Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing calls as appropriate.</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.</li><li>Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training a plus.</li><li>Proven experience in scheduling, data entry, or administrative roles preferred. They are responsible for scheduling patients for the surgery center and assists with insurance verification when needed.  The ideal candidate must display excellent telephone etiquette as he/she manages calls of utmost importance to providing quality and continuity of individual patient care.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:   </strong></div><ul><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining postage meter.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Assist with chart preparation. </li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Assist with Admissions.  Check in pre-op patients. Copy identification and insurance.  Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Collect patient responsibility as determined by the Insurance Verifier.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Coordinates with anesthesia groups to confirm scheduling for coverage.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Accurately uses procedure codes to ensure proper billing.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Verifies information being entered into system is correct, i.e. spelling of name, DOB, gender, insurance information, etc.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Ensuring all necessary paper work for any patient – “add on'' is received by the appropriate staff.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Communicates changes to schedule to appropriate staff.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Ensures all required fields in Advantx are completed.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Works closely with OR director to avoid equipment or supply conflicts.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Alerts administration when new doctors or procedures are scheduled.</li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">High school diploma or equivalent.  </li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">At least 1 year of medical receptionist and surgery scheduling experience.</li><li style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Excellent communications skills.
