This role involves collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and reliability standards. The Scheduler plays a key role in maintaining asset integrity and operational efficiency. This position is located at the RGLNG site in Brownsville, TX.\n \n\n\n \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n \nMaintenance Scheduling & Coordination\n\n Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules for routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.\n Coordinate maintenance activities with operations, reliability, and engineering teams to minimize disruptions to LNG production.\n Ensure work orders are prioritized based on safety, criticality, and operational impact.\n Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans to accommodate changes in operational conditions.\n \nWorkforce & Resource Optimization\n\n Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment availability to optimize maintenance execution.\n Ensure proper allocation of technicians and contractors based on workload and priority.\n Monitor and track work progress, identifying potential bottlenecks and delays.\n \nCompliance & Safety Standards\n\n Ensure maintenance activities comply with LNG industry safety regulations, OSHA, API, and company policies.\n Support risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, and job hazard analyses (JHA).\n Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules and work history.\n \nReporting & Continuous Improvement\n\n Generate reports on maintenance performance, schedule compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).\n Analyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.\n Assist in optimizing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS such as SAP 4 HANA, Prometheus or similar platforms).\n \nMinimum Requirements:\n\n Journeyman or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or a related field.\n Minimum 5-10 years of experience in maintenance within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.\n Proficiency in CMMS software (SAP, Prometheus, MS Project, P6) for scheduling and work order management.\n Strong knowledge of LNG plant maintenance processes, reliability practices, and equipment types.\n Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.\n Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.\n Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.\n Eligible to be issued Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) are required.\n \nPreferred Requirements:\n\n Certification in maintenance planning (e.g., SMRP, PMP, or SAP PM Module Certification).\n Experience with shutdown/turnaround planning in LNG or process facilities.\n \nOther Duties:\n \nShutdown & Turnaround Planning\n\n Assist in planning and scheduling major maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds.\n Ensure all shutdown activities are properly sequenced, resourced, and aligned with operational needs.\n Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and equipment.\n \n\n\n \nJob Site Work Environment \n\n Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions. \n Operates in a complex construction environment. \n Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions. \n Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Answers all incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff. May include outside scheduling and/or surgical scheduling responsibilities. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):<ul><li>Answers all incoming calls; assesses callers’ needs and directs to appropriate personnel and pages clinic personnel as appropriate.  Obtains and communicates messages in an accurate and timely manner.</li><li>Schedules new patients, patient referrals and returning patients in computer system in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines. For new and or referred patients, sets up in system with appropriate documentation and coding. Cancels/reschedules appointments according to physician schedule changes; notifies appropriate clinic personnel.</li><li>Obtains and enters all insurance authorization, and correspondence relating to referrals in patients charts and/or electronic medical records (EMR).</li><li>Collects co-pays, deductible and other out of pocket amounts at time of visit.</li><li>Maintains primary office scheduling template containing physician meetings, satellite schedule, rounding and call coverage.</li><li>Arranges for patients to have financial counseling as needed.</li><li>Demonstrates an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and clinic/practice.</li><li>Follows policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the front office.  Covers for other front office functions as requested.</li><li>Prepares correspondence, memos, forms and other typing as requested by supervisor.</li><li>May schedule outpatient appointments/testing/surgeries and hospital admissions upon request.  Obtains necessary pre-certification as required.</li><li>May communicate to patient about surgeries or tests being scheduled and potential prep work needed, inquiring about test specifics from necessary parties and gathering patient information as needed</li><li>May be responsible for follow up on all pre-operative tests to ensure cleared for surgical procedure and communicates with physician and patients if further testing is required before surgery is performed.</li><li>May be responsible for scheduling post-operative follow up appointments with Physicians.</li><li>Where applicable, basic understanding of medical terminology for tests and surgical procedures, including coding and ability to look up codes specific to diagnosis, surgery and scheduling procedure.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Scheduler role will have the following background and experience:   Level 1  <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.    </li><li>Position is entry level and requires 0-3 years’ experience preferably in a medical office setting.  </li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and/or authorization experience preferred.  </li><li>Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.  </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required  </li></ul>Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements) <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Minimum three years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting. </li></ul>Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements) <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Minimum five years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting. </li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and coding required. </li></ul>Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
