Includes review and verification of presence of patient name, date of birth, surgeon, intended procedure date, history and physical, permit, orders, required diagnostic testing results (labs, EKG, type & screen/type & cross, chest x-ray, etc.), medical clearances (including but not limited to medical, cardiac, pulmonary as required by surgeon/anesthesia). Additional responsibilities include the daily build and distribution of surgical case information for the electronic scheduling system, collaborating with all perioperative departments and surgeons/providers' offices for optimal service and patient experience.
