Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic Perioperative patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for the registered nurse and support staff. Our OR at Mary Black is not only working to become an Orthopedic Center of Excellence, but we also have the DNV total hip and knee certification, and our service lines include foot and ankle surgery, hip and knee replacement, shoulder surgery, spine surgery, etc.
