New York State Teaching Certification in Biology (grades 5-9), Biology (grades 7-12), Chemistry (grades 5-9), Chemistry (grades 7-12), Earth Science (grades 5-9), Earth Science (grades 7-12), Physics (grades 5-9), Physics (grades 7-12) or Childhood Education (grades 1-6). Under the supervision of the School Principal, the Science Teacher engages students in learning to develop an in-depth understanding of content and develop key skills—communication, collaboration, inquiry, problem solving, and flexibility—that will serve them throughout their educational and professional lives.
