What YOU WILL Do: Perform analytical testing including micro-sectioning, microstructural identification, SEM/EDS, XRF, XRay, tensile and compression testing, digital imaging microscopy, and micro-hardness testing, wet chemistry, GC/MS, FTIR, DSC, DMA, to support failure analyses and root cause investigations. Materials and Processes is a service group and a Center of Excellence for Collins Aerospace, Mission Systems and as such requires interaction with the various internal customers, other Collins facilities (for whom we regularly perform failure analyses), customers and suppliers.
