RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Perform daily startup and periodic inspections of lifts in winter and summer</li></ul> <ul><li>Assist in performing in-service and after-hours maintenance and repairs</li></ul> <ul><li>Participate in safety and equipment training</li></ul> <ul><li>Maintain clean workspaces and equipment</li></ul> <ul><li>Participate in daily morning briefings</li></ul> <ul><li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of required records and logs</li></ul> <ul><li>Perform all routine mechanical inspections on lifts</li></ul> <ul><li>Other duties as assigned, potentially assist other Mountain Operations and Resort department</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>At least 18 years old</li></ul> <ul><li>Provide personal hand, power, and electrical tools</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to climb lift terminal stairs and tower ladders</li></ul> <ul><li>Strong skiing ability</li></ul> <ul><li>Accept direction and instruction readily</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to lift and position heavy components 50 pounds or greater, in mountainous terrain as required</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to work effectively with other lift technicians and other Deer Valley staff</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to work in extreme weather, at heights, or carry heavy equipment in mountainous areas</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to always maintain a positive and helpful attitude toward our guests</li></ul> BASIC WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF: <ul><li>Lift theory, operation, and practice</li></ul> <ul><li>Operational requirements and problems</li></ul> <ul><li>Mechanical, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems</li></ul> <ul><li>Electrical AC/DC circuits, DC power supplies and batteries</li></ul> <ul><li>AC and DC motor theory, operation, and maintenance</li></ul> <ul><li>Interpretation of technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics</li></ul> <ul><li>All applicable rules, regulations, and governing codes including ANSI B77.1</li></ul> <ul><li>Troubleshooting and repair techniques</li></ul> <ul><li>Use of DMM in troubleshooting electrical circuits</li></ul> <ul><li>Routine mechanical inspections of lifts</li></ul> <ul><li>Safe operation of snowmobiles and other company equipment</li></ul> DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: <ul><li>Year Round</li></ul> PAY RATE: <ul><li>Pay: $21-25 DOE</li></ul> Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer</div></div>
