Seasonal Staff Shipping Tailored Brands IncSeasonal Staff ShippingPeachtree Corners, GAHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required, additional education is a plus • Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center environment with strong work ethics and a high degree of excellence • Prior working experience in a production, distribution, and warehouse environment • Basic knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn proprietary programs • Working knowledge of Oracle reporting software • Prior experience in the use of warehouse material handling equipment and tools • Good communication and people skills are required with excellent command of the English language • Demonstrated ability to motivate, encourage, and lead team members • Must have strong commitment to quality and ability to provide outstanding customer service • Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies • Good mathematical and counting skills required • Highly motivated and high initiative in providing proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems and willingness to take on new tasks, challenges, and opportunities • Good organizational, analytical, multitasking, and follow-up skills • Must always maintain a professional and positive attitude with the highest level of customer service • Must possess good judgment and fairness when making decisions, and in coordinating and assigning work to team members • Must be goal oriented and task driven to meet deadlines • Possess a sense of urgency to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced team environment • Ability to work in all areas of production in the shipping department and other duties assigned by management. The responsibilities of the Seasonal Shipping Staff will consist of but are not limited to the following: • Prepares outbound shipments by assembling, protecting, labeling and determining best method of shipment • Scan and assemble orders for shipment and complete packing slips, bills of ladings (BOL's), and shipping/driver logs; unload/load merchandise • Enter data into a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other computer programs • Sort outbound cartons, maintain shipping lanes and process outbound cartons using small parcel shipping • Receive and stage shipments in designated locations • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments against shipping documents for accuracy • Review all documentation to ensure accuracy of each shipment • Ensure timely completion and shipment of product from outside vendors • File and maintain accurate shipping/receiving records, documents, and information • Inspect and ensure quality control measures on inbound and outbound goods • Ensure accuracy and count of products selected • Report damages and discrepancies • Record and report any damaged products/merchandise to the designated supervisor • Maintain a safe work environment and report all maintenance or safety issues requiring corrective action • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
