Job Summary
The Cook I is responsible for assisting workers engaged in preparing foods for guest dining by performing a combination of duties. As the largest full-service conference facilities in the Midwest, our vast 150,000+ square-feet of IACC-certified meeting and event spaces regularly host a variety of occasions, from large-scale Fortune 500 company meetings to small business training and special events, like fundraisers and galas.
li>Assist in driving key performance indicators (KPIs) and selling metrics-such as conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, and units per transaction through the introduction of new, underperforming, and strategic product categories to customers. Self-motivated and able to work independently while demonstrating strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills, with the awareness of seeking guidance when needed.
Core Competencies As a successful Sales Associate, you know how to: Ensure the highest level of customer service possible as outlined in our Service Training Program Prioritize brand and product knowledge training in customer interactions Communicate effectively with customers, team members, management, and corporate stakeholders Contribute to a team and cooperate to achieve goals Multi-task in a fast-paced environment Respond to problem situations with professionalism Think critically to solve problems and approach challenges with agility Key Qualifications Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred.
