We are seeking a high-energy Aerial Sports Coordinator who will be responsible for enriching the camper experience through the development and delivery of age-appropriate aerial sports activities.

We are hiring remarkable summer camp staff to serve our camp programming areas! Join our summer camp team and make $500 per week. As a camp staff member, you’ll play a vital role in helping girls grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships in a supportive environment. We are seeking a high-energy Aerial Sports Coordinator who will be responsible for enriching the camper experience through the development and delivery of age-appropriate aerial sports activities. The person in this position will develop, plan, implement, maintain, and evaluate activities for campers including low ropes, high ropes, the climbing wall, and zipline. Be a role model and mentor.</li><li>Gain new skills: Learn safety, program development, child development, and more.</li><li>Boost your resume: The experience will prepare you for future opportunities.</li><li>Improve professional skills: Sharpen problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Enjoy nature: Spend your summer surrounded by beautiful landscapes, trees, water, and wildlife.</li><li>Adventure awaits: Hike, canoe, swim, and camp right at your doorstep.</li><li>Learn to protect nature: Gain a deeper appreciation for the environment and how to care for it.</li><li>Have fun: Join in singing, cheering, playing, and laughing through camp traditions like campfires and games.</li><li>Create lasting memories: Your time at camp will stay with you for a lifetime.</li><li>Join a supportive team: Work with passionate staff from diverse backgrounds and form lasting friendships.</li></ol> Camp Staff Perks:<ul><li>Paid internships</li><li>Housing and meals provided</li><li>Outdoor adventures</li><li>Epic and supportive team</li></ul> The ideal candidate should be…<ul><li>At least 21 years of age.</li><li>Experience in teaching, guiding, and working with children.  </li><li>Excited to be outdoors and work with youth.</li><li>Interested or experienced in camp and guiding youth in a variety of activities.</li><li>Energetic and has a desire to grow future girl leaders.</li><li>Visual/auditory ability to respond to environmental and other hazards.  </li><li>Ability to respond calmly in a crisis situation.  </li><li>Excellent customer service, including the ability to maintain a calm demeanor with adults in conflict.  </li><li>Certified or able to become Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certified.</li><li>Trained or able to become trained on all ropes elements, climbing walls, and ziplines. </li><li>Willing to stay in Mindoro, WI for the entire summer and live onsite with our campers.</li><li>Willing to subscribe to the philosophy of the Girl Scout program and enroll as a Girl Scout member. </li><li>Available May 28th-August 11th, 2026 </li></ul> What you will do:<ul><li>Manage activity supervision and ensure policies and procedures are followed. </li><li>Plan and facilitate all aerial sports activities, including low ropes, high ropes, the climbing wall, and zipline.</li><li>Set and maintain standards for aerial sports programs that are safe, creative, fun, and educational.</li><li>Ensure sufficient and functional supplies for aerial sports by requesting supply orders before and during camp</li><li>Keep accurate records of camper achievements, inventory, and supply lists. </li><li>Supervise and assist with camp cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly program area, including storage areas.</li><li>Supervise campers to cover for breaks of other camp staff. </li><li>Participate in all camp activities: campfires, games, serenades, etc.</li><li>Help to ensure that the value of experiencing camp is achieved: keeping campers focused, engaged, and motivated to learn new skills.</li><li>Help each Girl Scout learn to respect the rights of others and appreciate themselves and others. </li><li>Assist in the opening and closing procedures of camp, including staff training.</li><li>Comprehend and implement emergency procedures through regular practice drills. </li><li>Maintain the health and safety of campers.</li><li>Create a safe and inclusive environment for both campers and other staff. </li></ul> Physical & Other Requirements: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
