Plans, develops, and oversees comprehensive year-round recreation programs and activities for a municipal recreation center, including organizing social events, athletic leagues, children's activities, community programs, field days, and indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities while ensuring programs operate effectively and meet community needs. Supervises recreation, maintenance, and support staff by preparing work schedules, providing guidance and training, addressing employee concerns, coordinating daily operations, maintaining records and reports, managing equipment and supplies, safeguarding recreation center fees, consulting with community groups regarding facility use, and ensuring buildings and grounds are properly maintained and safe.
