JOB TITLE: Industrial Engineer LOCATION: Ocala, FL PAY RATE: $62.26/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details: <ul><li>Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)</li><li>Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance</li><li>Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation</li><li>Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)</li><li>Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplier</li><li>Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.</li></ul>Qualifying Questions:<ul><li>Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?</li><li>Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?</li><li>Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?</li></ul>Summary: <ul><li>Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve plant and production efficiency</li><li>Develop and optimize facility and equipment layouts for maximum utilization of space and personnel</li><li>Conduct studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory management, and production systems</li><li>Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and process improvements</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies</li><li>Assist in establishing safety and accident prevention measures</li><li>Support or lead training programs related to production operations</li><li>Collaborate with facilities engineering on planning and design efforts</li><li>Utilize data analytics and statistical methods to drive decision-making</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Ability to obtain a security clearance</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment</li><li>6+ years of experience in factory layout and design</li><li>6+ years of experience developing large-scale equipment and workspace layouts to improve productivity and reduce waste</li><li>6+ years of experience in work measurement and time standards</li><li>6+ years of experience with work measurement techniques (e.g., PMTS, work sampling, direct time study)</li><li>Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies</li><li>6+ years of experience in data analytics and statistical analysis</li><li>6+ years of experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.</li></ul>About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
