The Security Guard II is able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols controlling access, monitoring security systems, screening vehicles and packages, and responding to incidents and emergencies, while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines and protocols. Control access at assigned entrance points by validating credentials, checking employee parking tags, screening visitors, new employees, service personnel, and vehicles, and issuing or verifying passes as authorized.
