<h2>Guest Service Representative</h2>My Place Hotel - Billings, MTCurrently looking to fill 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm<h3>Position Summary</h3>My Place Hotel in Billings is seeking a dependable Guest Service Representative to support front desk operations and daily hotel functions. This role blends guest-facing service with operational support, ensuring smooth check-ins, accurate records, and a clean, safe, and welcoming property. Ideal candidates are organized, service-minded, and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities throughout their shift.<h3>What You'll Do</h3>Front Desk & Guest Experience<ul><li>Serve as the first point of contact for guests during arrival, stay, and departure</li><li>Complete reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using hotel systems</li><li>Post and verify charges including room rates, taxes, My Store purchases, and pet fees</li><li>Explain hotel amenities, rewards program participation, and local dining, shopping, and attractions</li><li>Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate</li><li>Complete Laundry and cleaning tasks</li></ul>Operational & Cleaning Assistance<ul><li>Complete laundry, stocking supplies, and sanitizing common areas</li><li>Maintain the coffee bar and lobby</li><li>Clear snow and ice from entrances and sidewalks as needed</li><li>Deliver guest items such as towels, cribs, and toiletries</li><li>Issue and track keys and key cards for housekeeping and maintenance</li><li>Support housekeeping with guest room cleaning during high occupancy or staffing shortages</li></ul>Communication & Phone Support<ul><li>Answer and route incoming calls using proper phone etiquette</li><li>Record messages accurately and manage guest wake-up requests</li></ul>Cash Handling & Records<ul><li>Process credit card authorizations and cash transactions</li><li>Maintain accurate shift paperwork including call logs, cash logs, and Night Audit documentation</li><li>Keep the Front Desk Log current and report operational or maintenance concerns to the General Manager</li></ul>Safety, Security & Property Support<ul><li>Follow all safety and security procedures</li><li>Conduct routine walkthroughs of floors, stairwells, entrances, and exterior areas</li><li>Monitor doors and lighting to ensure a secure environment</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask, stay organized, and work independentlyReliable attendance and professional conductComfortable handling cash and maintaining accurate records<h3>Pay & Benefits</h3><ul><li>$15-17 per hour</li><li>Monthly bonus potential</li><li>Bi-weekly direct deposit</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Cross-training and advancement opportunities</li></ul>Shifts Times: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Join a team where your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and daily hotel success.
