Nature of Work: The Deputy Bailiff II assists the Bailiff with the security of the court building to include metal detector operations, service of civil/criminal subpoenas, handling and transporting prisoners, immobilizing vehicles, and any other job function as deemed necessary for the court's efficient and safe operation. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The work is performed in an office environment, courtroom, jail/holding facility and outdoor where the physical demands require sitting and standing for extended periods of time; may include exposure to potential personal danger.
