Within CPG, a Level 2 Officer is an experienced security professional who has progressed beyond entry-level guard responsibilities and is qualified for assignments requiring increased situational awareness, independent decision-making, de-escalation skills, professional report writing, and, where specifically authorized, approved less-lethal defensive equipment. Depending upon the essential functions of the assigned post, the position may involve prolonged standing or walking, climbing stairs, working indoors or outdoors, exposure to varying weather conditions, and responding to security incidents.
