The Manager – Physical Security is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance and testing of security management systems and applications designed to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, staff and protect the property and assets of the University of Chicago Medical Center (UCMC) campus, UCMC offsite facilities and clinics, and Community Hospital and Healthcare Division (CHHD) facilities, including Ingalls. Manage the access control and visitor management systems to ensure appropriate levels of access for staff, residents, contractors and visitors are maintained for buildings, departments and sensitive areas.
