Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with a social welfare major; or a Bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 credits of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences and 1 year experience in public or private human services setting; or at the sole discretion of the agency any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social science. Care Manager/Protective Services Worker:Full-time position (37.50 hours weekly) that provides assessment for our in-home services; Investigates reports for older adults who may be neglected, abused and/or financially exploited; conducts comprehensive assessments; Develops and implements crisis intervention strategies to remove/reduce the risk and help ensure safety; Performs follow-up monitoring.
