Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a security setting in a courthouse; walk, stand, or sit for prolonged periods of time; occasionally run, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; regularly push, pull, lift, and/or carry light to moderate weights; operate office equipment including use of computer keyboard; requires a sense of touch, finger dexterity, and gripping with hands and fingers; ability to speak and hear to exchange informa ion; and ability to visually observe screens on closed circuit television monitors and door access system monitors. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access to court facilities, providing information and directions to the public, and assisting judicial officers, court staff, and law enforcement personnel with security-related matters.
