Experience in a supervisory position of Lieutenant rank or above directing, coordinating, and overseeing complex, long-term investigations into labor racketeering and organized crime in the Port of New York, including fraud, theft, illegal gambling, loan sharking, extortion, and drug trafficking and other waterfront practices, including possible violations of the Waterfront Commission Act (WCA). At the direction of the Chief of Police, the NYWC Lieutenant (Investigations) directs, coordinates, and oversees complex, long-term investigations of labor racketeering and organized crime in the Port of New York, possible violations of the Waterfront Commission Act, including prohibited association with organized crime figures and career criminals.
