Specialized experience includes administering, evaluating, or supporting security programs involving personnel, physical, information, industrial, or operational security; conducting security inspections and compliance reviews; reviewing and processing security clearances and access authorizations; interpreting and applying security regulations, policies, and procedures; providing security guidance and training to personnel; and identifying, analyzing, and resolving security issues to ensure protection of personnel, facilities, information, and resources. Incumbent interfaces directly with DoD, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, US Army, US Air Force, Air Intelligence Agency, major commands, combatant commands, and other national-level agencies to evaluate, guide, and adjust unit programs to meet changing security needs and requirements as personally assessed or as directed.
