Description: The Director of Maintenance, provides oversight, direction, and support of the overall maintenance activities of the Maintenance Department, which includes development of policies and procedures, programs and initiatives to ensure cost effective and efficient management of Agency fleet, including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), fuel cell electric and battery electric vehicles, as well as all facilities and equipment, and capital projects, ensuring full compliance with safety and transit industry regulations. Manages the operation and staff engaged in the repair, overhaul and maintenance of gasoline, battery electric, fuel cell electric and compressed natural gas (CNG) powered vehicles and equipment; interior and exterior cleaning of buses; maintenance and repair of Agency facilities and equipment, capital projects and centralized procurement of buses, goods and services.
