Reviews and coordinates on all functions of production management, quality control, and the direction of aircraft maintenance, avionics, and munitions activities, and uses Management Information Systems (MIS) to evaluate and interpret a variety of products and reports and analyzes each product taking necessary action to ensure workload is accomplished in the most effective manner. The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Senior Air Reserve Technician (ART) Officer with overall supervision and management of either an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, a Maintenance Squadron, an Equipment Maintenance Squadron or a Component Maintenance Squadron at an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) unit-equipped or associate unit.
