The Senior Accountant I is responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting through the preparation and review of general ledger transactions, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and maintenance of assigned accounting processes, including fixed assets, leases, contracts, cash, and other balance sheet accounts. The Senior Accountant I independently researches and resolves accounting discrepancies, identifies unusual transactions or trends, maintains appropriate supporting documentation, and applies GAAP and organizational policies in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
