The role will be responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and dissemination of various PG&E communications programs through internal, external, executive, media, and/or online communications; developing and coordinating communications strategies and initiatives with the goal of sustaining and advancing PG&E's reputable products and services with various stakeholders including but not limited to customers, clients, the general public, and employees; and collaborating and consulting with PG&E's lines of business (LOB) and numerous external stakeholders to provide timely, relevant, consistent, and unified corporate information and message regarding PG&E issues, programs and operations, which could include news releases, media opportunities and press conferences. The focus will be on telling our story of reliability and safety progress in San Francisco that encompasses both the big picture (PG&E's 120-year plus history in the city and our continued and ongoing work for our customers) as well as the local projects where our work (including our field personnel and our blue trucks in the street) provide visual and visceral assurance that we are laser focused on making improvements.
