Lead the development of structural analysis, modeling, capacity calculations and calculation reports • Attend and lead client meetings including development of meeting minutes • Build relationships with existing and new clients • Perform periodic site visits and attend client meetings as required • Participate in projects pursuits/opportunities including positioning, team building, proposal writing, interviewing and contract negotiation • Lead the implementation of quality control and quality assurance on projects • Coordinate closely with business managers and technical leaders in the company to advance initiatives • Coordinate with coastal, civil, transportation, mechanical, electrical, construction, inspection, permitting/environmental and other disciplines as required to deliver projects • Manage subconsultants and construction services throughout project lifecycles • Actively participate in initiatives to grow the team as required through hiring of interns and junior staff. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; required • Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering; preferred • 10+ years of experience in waterfront/marine civil engineering; required • Professional Engineer (AICP, PP, PG, etc.) licensure in Alaska or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire • Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) certification in the Port Engineering category a plus • Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
