p>In addition to leading technical appraisal review activities, this individual will contribute to broader risk management and operational leadership priorities, including vendor panel oversight, invoice review and approval, market research & intelligence, internal education initiatives, appraisal policy ownership, quarterly control reporting, process improvement efforts, and support for strategic initiatives that strengthen portfolio management and monitoring practices. The Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk team oversees credit risk strategy, valuation governance, and portfolio risk management for BNY's nationwide commercial real estate (CRE) portfolio, spanning multifamily, affordable housing, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and other specialized asset classes.
