The Senior Medical assistant in the office setting is a specialty requiring a variety of skills, including but not limited to: Receptionist, registration duties, data collection for billing procedures, charge posting, maintains appointment schedules, and provides appropriate patient instructions per physician orders. Demonstrated MA competencies or equivalent MA experience gained through any of the following: MA Certificate, Associates degree in Medical Assisting, CNA (or LNA), EMT, PCT certificate, Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
