<h3>Overview</h3><h3>Academic Dean</h3>The Academic Dean is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, and academic integrity of the campus. This role oversees faculty, curriculum development, student success initiatives, accreditation compliance, and overall academic operations. curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development</li><li>Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, state, and federal requirements</li><li>Promote excellence in teaching, research, and student learning outcomes</li><li>Collaborate with leadership and program directors to implement new and update existing curriculum based on program objectives, industry trends and student needs</li><li>Implement training programs and workshops of faculty/staff for professional development</li><li>Oversee student advising, retention, and academic support services</li><li>Address academic concerns, grievances, and appeals</li><li>Support initiatives to enhance student engagement, career readiness, and experiential learning</li><li>Develop and maintain learning resources that comply with regulatory standards and meet students needs</li><li>Implement mechanisms to meet and exceed all academic outcomes for students and campus</li></ul><ul><li>Lead the campus student retention efforts and provide support for program directors and faculty with retention activities, strategy, and initiatives</li><li>Contribute to institutional strategic planning and accreditation efforts</li><li>Manage budgetary and financial planning for the academic division</li><li>Foster relationships with external partners, including businesses, advisory boards, community organizations, and accrediting bodies</li><li>Ensure adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards</li><li>Lead program assessment and continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Maintain academic records and duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Education / Experience<ul><li>Master's degree in an Academic Area, Education, or closely related field (required)</li><li>Doctorate degree in an Academic Area, Education, or closely related field (preferred)</li><li>Eight (8) years leadership experience in education and four (4) years experience teaching or acting in an administrative role within a post-secondary environment (preferred)</li><li>Prior experience an an Academic Dean (preferred)</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in budget management and strategic planning</li><li>Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., ACCSC) and higher education policies</li><li>Proficiency with online education and emerging instructional technologies</li><li>Proficiency leading interdisciplinary initiatives and multiple higher education programs</li></ul>Abilities<ul><li>Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders</li></ul>Standard Abilities<ul><li>Able and willing to:<ul><li>Communicate, think, learn, and reason</li><li>Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment.
