Work independently with integrated teams of engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects in developing site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude and public and private projects with a focus on sustainability and resiliency • Lead and assist with civil engineering for retail, residential, institutional, renewable energy and industrial site design including grading and drainage design, utility design, and site layout • Preparation and/or reviewing of design criteria, drawings and specifications • Preparation of schematic design, design development, and construction contract documentation • Lead the preparation of permitting, design and construction documents • Lead, mentor and train junior staff • Project task financial performance, and management of projects • Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues. • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills • Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with other emerging professionals and managers • Ability to work in a fast-paced office, virtual, and field environment, in rural or urban environments • Proven strong work-ethic and self-motivated to produce high quality outcomes • Highly organized, and detail oriented, with ability to think creatively and formulate solutions in team environment • Knowledge of local and state regulations governing site design.
