Description:Position Summary This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste and has direct contact with Wind River Environmental customers. Responsibilities include operating a company service truck and transporting non-hazardous liquid waste to and between branch, disposal and customer locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.</li><li>Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free. Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and adjust avoid loss, injury or accident. </li><li>Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance inspections </li><li>Provide excellent customer service </li><li>Completion and submission of paperwork including but not limited to driver worksheets, timesheets, manifests and disposal tickets</li><li>Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays</li><li>Must be able to work on-call rotations as needed </li><li>Operate vacuum pressure equipment.</li><li>Load and unload vehicle</li><li>Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols </li><li>Other duties as assigned by management </li><li>Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job. </li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>You are regularly exposed outside weather conditions, non-hazardous fumes and noise</li><li>Must be comfortable working independently </li><li>Interaction with customers </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs. </li><li>Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines. </li><li>Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills. </li><li>Ability to perform basic math functions. </li></ul>Requirements:Required Qualifications<ul><li>Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record </li><li>Must hold a Class A CDL with ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement if requested </li><li>At least 21 years of age </li><li>At least 2 years of professional commercial driving experience (post-school) </li><li>Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams </li><li>Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace </li><li>Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record </li><li>High-School Diploma </li></ul>Company Offered Benefits<ul><li>Competitive starting hourly rates + opportunity to earn overtime!
