DescriptionSenior Accountant Responsibilities: Support period-end close activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including consolidated statements and supporting schedulesPerform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, research variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPrepare bank and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entitiesSupport project accounting activities, including work-in-process analysis and revenue recognition under percentage-of-completion methodology to ensure accuracy and complianceAssist with inventory accounting processes, including reconciliations and support for physical inventory counts when applicableContribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, including monthly projections, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plansSupport reporting requirements for a corporate parent organization and assist with related deliverables as neededParticipate in process improvement initiatives focused on strengthening controls, improving efficiency, and enhancing reporting accuracyProvide support to accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; an accounting focus is preferred but not required.3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including involvement in month-end close.
